Behind the Story
After writing a book about dogs sniffing bottoms, Renee wondered what cats would do. The answer was obvious: whatever they want.
Cats rarely do what people want them to do, and they usually interact on their own terms. Sometimes the more you try to love them, the more they run away. That familiar cat logic became the heart of this funny picture book.
Renee also turned I Don’t Think My Cat Loves Me into a song, released it as a single and made a YouTube video for the book.
