Learning the Lingo

A funny dyslexia-friendly Australian school story

Do Australians and Americans speak the same language?

When Mia moves to a new school in Victoria, making friends is her top priority. She bonds with Suzie and Jayde over cooking, and together they decide to introduce their American teacher, Mrs Quincy, to Aussie slang.

When Mrs Quincy sets an assignment on Australian animals, the girls hatch a plan to teach her about Australia’s most terrifying mythical creature: the elusive drop bear.
