Behind the Story
Wife, Mother, Woman was the first book Renee independently published.
It is a collection of flash fiction and very short stories she wrote to practise writing and learn her craft. The stories are themed around women in, or affiliated with, the Australian military.
Renee was living in Darwin during her family’s first posting after her husband joined the Royal Australian Air Force, and that season of military family life shaped the collection.
